Woke up this morning to rain, a great day for my birthday pedicure, a splurge I seldom indulge in. It was a great experience. I chose a local place Healani’s Nails on Papalina Road in Kalaheo. There I received an expert pedicure with a great foot massage, ending with hot towels. I had it done French and was pleased there was no extra charge.

Kalei, was friendly and professional; we talked about the local beaches I’ve been visiting and she gave me advice where to eat and buy things. The salon is simple but immaculate and on the way to Kukuiolono Golf Course. A golf outing with a pedicure is a fabulous idea and Healani’s expert service and non-resort prices can’t be beat.
